Texecom Video Verification
The Project
The purpose of the Video Verification project was to provide the user with the ability to verify the reason as to why their alarm has been triggered, reducing the amount of false alarms occuring.
To kick start the project, we needed to attain some market research, with the key point being, once provided, video verification will streamline the response time once an alarm has been triggered.
Knowing it is a service which was overwhelmingly needed, I began to create a series of wireframes and planned the user journey. Using these, I started to perform Usability Tests with a research group previously set up.
Following this, high fidelity mock-ups were created and focus group sessions were held to ensure what had been designed was on the right path. The mock-ups were then handed to the development team and built to a standard so we could begin to perform Beta tests.
My role on this project involved creating both low and high fidelity wireframes & mock-ups. Performing research methods such as Usability Tests, Focus Groups and organising Beta Tests
