Texecom Guard Response

The Texecom Guard Response is an additional service which is available to the customer through the Texecom Connect App.

Once activated, the user has the ability to trigger a range of emergency options, these include; Panic Alarm, Guard Response, Fire Response and Medical Response. 

When the Guard Response option has been triggered, and the feature has been activated, the user is shown active status of the response. Allowing them to view estimated arrival and a live map view.

My role on this project included creating both low and high fidelity wireframes/mock-ups, usability testing with customers and the final UI of the user journey. 

Within the research side of the project, I performed usability testing with a range of installers and customers. Once this stage was completed, I create an affinity map of the results. This allowed me to visually see the problem areas of the initial user journey, enabling me to make changes accordingly before handing over to the development team.
